Fox has ordered Unreal (working title), a reality special starring close-up magician JB Benn. The special, currently in production, will feature JB Benn performing magic tricks on celebrities and athletes. Juma Entertainment is producing, with Bob Horowitz and Len Webber executive producing. JB Benn has traveled the globe and performed for a slew of celebrities, including Warren Buffet, Oprah and Bono. He hosts Travel Channel’s Magic Man.
JB Benn is a Manhattan native who is hailed as being one of the greatest close-up illusionists in the world. This type of entertainment is commonly done in more intimate settings, with the artist performing sleight-of-hand card and coin magic in close proximity to guests. For JB Benn, entertaining has never been about the flash or the hype. He has always relied on his talents and abilities to gain recognition.
